Charbel and Mitsi’s love story began in the most conventional way of the 21st century - on Hinge. After enduring the long and protracted COVID lockdown, they finally met face-to-face on November 6th, 2021, at an intimate tapas restaurant in St Kilda. From the moment they sat down, they were engrossed in conversation, bonding over their culturally rich backgrounds and family values. Their connection was so deep that an hour flew by before they realised they hadn’t ordered any food or drinks. Their night was filled with deep conversations, and they were the last to leave the restaurant that evening.

Fast-forward three months, and these lovebirds were already planning their first international adventure to Mexico, Cuba, and beyond. Despite missing their flight out of Australia and facing several other hurdles along the way, their love and commitment only grew stronger. One year into their relationship, Charbel and Mitsi decided to move in together and welcomed their fur baby, Kamika, into their family.

Less than three years into dating, on the 17th of September 2024, Charbel knelt beneath a radiant full moon on the stunning shores of Positano and asked Mitsi to be his forever. Through tremulous times come new beginnings; their commitment to each other has only grown stronger. With unwavering support of Mitsi’s career dreams, Charbel and their beloved Kamika packed their lives and moved to the serene landscapes of Tasmania. Their path continues to unfold in the most unpredictable ways, yet always side by side, illuminated by the full moon of their unwavering love.
